The Spanish Composer Antón García Abril has been commissioned by the exceptional American violinist Hilary Hahn to write a piece for violin and piano. This work will be part of her project Hilary Hahn Encores, a very interesting project of this violinist, two times Grammy award winner, with 27 encores that she is playing all over the world during this and next season, and she will record in CD for Deutsche Grammophon in 2013-2014. Other composers included in the project are Mark-Anthony Turnage, Paul Moravec, Krzysztof Penderecki, Einojuhani Rautavaara, Jennifer Higdon, Avner Dorman, Lera Auerbach and Edgar Meyer, among others.
