Violinist Hilary Hahn receives her third Grammy

Violinist Hilary Hahn with pianist Cory Smythe received a Grammy at the 57th Edition of the Grammy Awards, celebrated this past Sunday, February 8th of 2015, in Los Angeles.

This is the third Grammy for Hilary Hahn, having being awarded on the category of “Best Chamber Music Performance” for her album “In 27 Pieces – The Hilary Hahn Encores”. An album of 27 short compositions by 27 contemporary composers, commissioned by the artist in a project that has taken 10 years, among the composers we can find a composition by Spanish composer Antón García Abril.

-       “Sometimes, when you have a crazy idea, it is worth making it true” said Hilary Hahn in her speech receiving the Grammy Award.
