Miguel Harth-Bedoya, Symphony Orchestra of Castile and Leon - "Nazareno II"

The two works that complete the Nazareno CD are two excellent examples of how South American classical music has crossed the borders of their countries and have become part of the standard repertoire of orchestras around the world. Both ends of the continent come together in this second part of the CD with the suite of dances from the ballet Estancia and The Night of the Mayas. The Symphony Orchestra of Castile and Leon, high quality cultural center in the community, is the star of this second part of the recording. Miguel Harth-Bedoya conducts the orchestra as an exception, making the group squeeze all the life that possess both scores. The interpretation both Estancia and in Night of the Maya is highly cared on emphasis on rhythm, character and strength of traditional music. The Nazareno album becomes a good way to approach classical music, by moving in every way to life and flavor of South America.
