Born in Munich, to spanish parents, Adolfo Gutiérrez Arenas is an outstanding cellist with a promising international carreer.
In 2010 he made his debut with the London Symphony Orchestra at the Ibermúsica series performing Elgar's cello concerto, he was immediately re-invited to give a recital in 2012 to great acclaim.
Among his future engagements, are included, his debut with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London and their Chief Conductor, Charles Dutoit. Re-invitation with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Edward Gardner. Recital at the Mendelssohn Festival of the Gewandhaus in Lepzig, debut with the Gewandhaus Orchester and Riccardo Chailly, concert with the Orquesta Nacional de España and Ton Koopman. Symphonic debut at the USA with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Miguel Harth-Bedoya. Invitation by Vladimir Jurowski to appear with the London Philharmonic Orchestra in 2016, as with the Montreal Symphony and Kent Nagano.
