To his new appointment, Maestro Tebar had to say:

" It is an honor to be appointed as Artistic Director and to start working to bring Opera Naples to a new level of excellence. Opera Naples is a young opera company, with two big opera productions this season, two chamber operas, opera gala, several recitals , master classes, and their new opera center. It's an institution on a very active community and very supportive of the arts. Next year will be the 10th Anniversary of its foundation, a period in wich they have become one of the fewest American opera companies that hasn't stopped growing exponentially every year. I can assure the future will only bring us years of a very productive relationship. " - El Codalario. 05/28/2014

" I am honored to be named Artistic Director of Opera Naples, a company that has grown non-stop since its founding, wich is a real achievement in today's opera world " [...] " I am looking forward to a very productive and creative relationship, and to making music for such an exciting community.
